1. Who can use Klick News

You must be 18 or older. Keep your login details safe — you are responsible for activity from your account.

2. Usage rules

  • Do not post fake news, hate speech, obscene content or anything unlawful in India.
  • Do not impersonate another person, journalist or organisation.
  • Do not scrape, copy in bulk, or republish our cards without written permission.
  • Do not attempt to inflate reads, comments or reactions by artificial means.
  • We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules or the IT Rules, 2021.

3. Content ownership

Writers keep ownership of the stories they submit. By publishing on Klick News you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, format, distribute and promote that content inside the app, on our website and on social channels. Klick News branding, the logo, card design and the app itself remain our property.

4. Writer revenue (summary)

  • Approved writers earn a 60% share of the net revenue their stories generate; Klick News keeps 40% for platform, moderation and distribution costs.
  • Earnings are calculated from verified reads and ad revenue (RPM based) and shown in your Creator Studio ledger, event by event.
  • Invalid, duplicated or artificially generated reads are excluded and may be reversed.
  • Payouts are made after the ledger is approved and the minimum payout threshold is met. TDS and other taxes apply as per Indian law.

5. Comments and community

Comments are yours; you are responsible for them. Report content you believe is wrong using the "..." menu on any card or through our grievance page.

6. Disclaimers

News is published as received from our writers and sources and may be updated or corrected. Klick News is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the new version. We may suspend the service or an account for breach of these terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.
